Virtual talk by Carlo Rovelli: The Relational Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics

The student´s initiative for Inclusion, Support, and Exchange QVLS RISE announces their kick-off event, featuring a virtual talk by the renowned theoretical physicist:
The Relational Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics
Rovelli is a professor of theoretical physics at the University of Aix Marseille and widely known for developing the relational interpretation of quantum mechanics (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/BF02302261). In his 45min talk, he will introduce the key ideas behind this interpretation and discuss its implications.
Beyond his influential contributions to Loop Quantum Gravity, Rovelli is also celebrated for bridging physics and philosophy, offering profound insights into how we approach and understand nature. Furthermore, he is well-known for his distinguished ability to communicate abstract topics from theoretical physics to a broad audience, reflected also by his bestseller books ”The order of time’’ and ”Seven brief lessons on physics’’.
