The World of Quantum 2025 was a true highlight – with the joint booth of Quantum Valley Lower Saxony (QVLS) right at the heart of it. Together with numerous partners from science and industry, the stand showcased what’s already possible in quantum technology today – from fundamental research to industrial applications.
Industry in Action:
Among the participants were Agile Optic, Laser nanoFab GmbH, QUDORA Technologies, Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH, hannoverimpuls GmbH, and the Clusters4Future project QVLS-iLabs. In addition, QVLS presented its own future cluster QVLS-iLabs as well as the QVLS HighTech Incubator (HTI) – two key initiatives supporting the transfer of quantum research into real-world innovation and startup development.
Research Up Close:
Visitors had the chance to engage with scientists, explore a model ion trap featuring real chips from the QVLS-Q1 project, and gain insights from the QuantumFrontiers Cluster of Excellence.
Hands-On Quantum Experiences:
The stand also featured interactive outreach activities including the QTIndu project, virtual reality experiences, escape games, and other engaging formats – bringing quantum science to life for experts, families, and students alike.
A special highlight was the visit of the “Innovation Journey – Women in Quantum” delegation organized by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), which made a stop at the QVLS booth as part of its tour through the exhibition. The exchange was both inspiring and enriching.
Throughout the fair, numerous partners, delegations, and initiatives from Germany and abroad took the opportunity to connect, network, and explore new collaborations. Many familiar faces from the QVLS community also stopped by – making it a vibrant reunion of key players in the quantum field.
Conclusion: A successful exhibition appearance with great conversations, valuable connections, and a strong sense of community – Quantum made in Lower Saxony is ready for the future.
