Since July 2022, Quantum Valley Lower Saxony (QVLS) has been one of the future clusters of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Under the name QVLS-iLabs, the cluster strengthens the quantum technology industry through targeted innovation in public-private partnerships. The iLabs are consolidating the Hannover-Braunschweig region as an innovation network for quantum technologies based on existing, strong cooperation. The focus is particularly on tapping into the economic potential of quantum metrology applications and quantum computers. Two years after approval, the QVLS-iLabs have now published a progress report (in German) with an overview of initial successes and the future roadmap for quantum technology innovations in the region.
