With the joint stand Quantum Technologies, the Future Hub at Hannover Messe 2023 became the central point of contact for the latest industrial applications of quantum technologies. From 17 to 21 April 2023, various start-ups presented the innovative power of quantum technologies at the stand alongside Quantum Valley Lower Saxony (QVLS). In addition to quantum computing, the focus was also on quantum communication as well as sensor technology and metrology. The topics and developments were illustrated with a fascinating exhibition area including the first prototypes and demonstrators.
The significant increase in the presence of the quantum industry at the Hannover Messe shows how rapidly the sector is growing. At the same time, it demonstrated how much value creation depends on successful industry transfer. As a leading industrial trade fair, the Hannover Messe is increasingly becoming a place for transformative developments such as the emerging quantum technologies with their new possibilities year after year.
