At the QuantumFrontiers Cluster of Excellence, female physicists and other scientists are researching questions of quantum metrology. What is quantum metrology? Metrology is the technical term for the art of measurement and quanta are the smallest particles in our universe.
The Girls’Day offer from QuantumFrontiers gives you an insight into this exciting field of physics and introduces you to the day-to-day work of a physicist at a university or research institution:
- conduct exciting experiments together and immerse yourself in the world of quantum physics
- visit a real research laboratory and talk to female researchers about their careers and everyday working life
This offer is designed for schoolgirls aged 14 and over. You must be at least 14 years old to take part in this offer.
