As part of the academy, you will receive an exclusive overview of the state of research and development in quantum technologies. The transfer of basic principles of quantum physics into concrete technical applications still requires enormous development efforts, e.g. in the engineering sciences or computer science. Anyone who wants to make these new technologies profitable must also create business models and find markets. Young start-ups as well as established companies are already investing heavily in quantum technologies.
During the Academy, you will gain an exclusive insight into this pioneering field of technology and the opportunity to broaden your horizons in terms of both science and entrepreneurship. The one-week academy program includes:
- Excursions to leading companies and institutes
- Lectures by experts in the field of quantum technologies
- An exclusive insight into the current state of research and development
- Discussions and networking with entrepreneurs, start-ups and founders
- Interactive workshops
- Cultural evening program
The programme takes you to exciting laboratories, institutes and other organizations. Stops include Leibniz Universität Hannover, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), the Technische Universität Braunschweig and Phaeno Wolfsburg.
