Robert Raußendorf is coming to Hannover
A great success in the competition for Germany’s most highly endowed research award: the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation has awarded one of its Alexander von Humboldt Professorships this year to Professor Robert Raußendorf. The renowned quantum physicist will move from the University of British Columbia, Canada to Leibniz Universität Hannover in summer 2023. With Professor Raußendorf, one of the few experts in the field of quantum information technology worldwide is coming to Hannover, where he will play a key role in advancing quantum research in Hannover – including the development of the first running quantum computer in Quantum Valley Lower Saxony.
