DESCRIPTION:The QVLS Quantum Day 2026 is taking place on May 4 at the New Town Hall in Hannover. \nThis year marks an important moment for the quantum ecosystem in Lower Saxony: the launch of the #clusters4future QVLS-iLabs initiative\, the approval of two Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) – German Research Foundation Excellence Clusters\, the extension of the BRIQ project\, and the approval of the QUICS project. Together\, these initiatives strengthen both fundamental research in ion-trap quantum computing and the coordination of quantum activities across the region.
