DESCRIPTION:Heather Partner speaking at event series „Mit Physik in den Beruf“ [A career in physics]\nHeather Partner studied physics and mathematics in the US and the UK\, and she received her PhD from the University of New Mexico\, where she worked in the area of atomic clock technology.\nAfter that\, she came to Germany to work as a postdoctoral researcher\, first at PTB Braunschweig and then at HU Berlin.\nAfter leaving academia\, she spent several years as a journal editor at Nature Communications before joining TOPTICA Photonics AG\, where she now works as a project manager focused in the area of quantum technologies. \nStarting at 6 pm\, Heather Partner will talk about her career path.
